Welcome celebration for internationals *tonight*

BCM 3800 Highland Road

Welcome celebration for internationals! tonight Monday August 22 starting at 5:30 at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM), The BCM is at 3800(?!?) Highland Road (corner of Highland Road and Chimes Street) and next to Christ the King Catholic Church. If you need to drive… where to park? We suggest (1) along Dalrymple Drive (near the LSU law school) – you do not need a permit after 5:00 p.m. and it is a short walk to the BCM; or (2) the visitor lot across the street (enter it from Dalrymple Drive… you might need to pay a little bit at the small machine).

BCM Thanksgiving 2015

*Last* Life and Faith Course for internationals – tonight at the BCM

Note – This will be last Bible study at the BCM this semester. We know people are interested in a Bible study for internationals during the summer. We will talk about this tonight.

Special Bible study opportunity!

Dr Rick Wright will teach a basic introduction to the Bible during the Spring semester *tonight* Monday from 7:00-7:45 p.m.*  Each class will start after the internationals dinner at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) at Louisiana State University (corner of Highland Road and Chimes). Dinner + Bible study! Great combination!

Last semester Dr Wright gave students a basic overview of the story of the Bible from Creation to Jesus and the Church. This semester the Bible studies will cover the basic teachings and practices of the Christian faith. If this is the story that the Bible tells then what do we believe? and how do we live? Dr Wright has been a pastor for internationals at University Baptist Church for 14 years. He has taught courses at Cornell University and Tulane University and now teaches Biblical Hebrew at Louisiana State University. The classes will use simple English. Internationals and Americans are both welcome.

If you have a Bible bring it. If you do not have a Bible let us know and we can give you one for free.

Welcome to Bible class for internationals – *not* tonight

Dr Rick Wright will not have his Welcome to Bible class for internationals at the BCM tonight November 18. This is because the BCM is having a Thanksgiving dinner for internationals starting at 6:00 p.m.
